Day 1Casablanca to Rabat

Upon your arrival at Casablanca airport, our dedicated team will be there to greet you and kickstart your Moroccan adventure. We’ll begin by exploring the vibrant city of Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco and home to a bustling population that contributes to its rapid growth.

During our time in Casablanca, you’ll have the opportunity to visit some of the city’s must-see cultural sites, including the iconic Hassan II Mosque, the renowned Rick’s Café, and the scenic Corniche Ain Diab.

After immersing ourselves in the cosmopolitan charm of Casablanca, we’ll continue our journey towards Fes, passing through the official capital of Morocco, Rabat. Rabat, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, is known for its unique historical sites, such as the majestic Hassan Tower, the grand Mausoleum, and the picturesque Kasbah des Oudayas.

As the day comes to a close, we’ll settle in for a relaxing evening at Euphoriad, where you’ll enjoy comfortable accommodations and a delightful breakfast to prepare for the adventures that lie ahead.

Day 2Rabat - Meknes - Volubilis - Fez

After indulging in a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we’ll embark on a captivating journey to Fes, passing through the historic cities of Meknes and Volubilis along the way.

Our first stop will be Meknes, known as the Ismaili capital of Morocco, where you’ll have the opportunity to marvel at the magnificent Bab Mansour gate, an architectural masterpiece built by Sultan Moulay Ismail. We’ll also explore the impressive granary and the Sahrij Souani, an ingenious water reservoir used for irrigation and plantation during ancient times.

Our first stop will be the Royal Palace, a majestic architectural marvel that reflects the grandeur of Moroccan royalty. From there, we’ll head to the Jewish quarter, home to the first Mellah ever built in Morocco, where you’ll discover the intriguing history and vibrant culture of the Jewish community.

Next, we’ll delve into the heart of Fes’s cultural heritage with a visit to the renowned Al Qaraouine University, the oldest university in the region and a beacon of learning and scholarship for centuries. We’ll also explore the fascinating museums and historic tanneries, gaining insights into Fes’s storied past and vibrant artistic traditions.

Day 5Fes - Ifran - Azrou - Errachidia - Merzouga

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your riad, it’s time to embark on an unforgettable journey from Fes to Merzouga, a desert town renowned for its mesmerizing landscapes and golden sand dunes.

As we travel towards Merzouga, we’ll pass through the picturesque town of Ifrane, often referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco,” owing to its charming Alpine architecture and pristine surroundings. Our route will then take us through the stunning Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains, where you’ll be treated to breathtaking vistas at every turn.

Our first stop will be Azrou, a traditional Berber village nestled amidst the expansive cedar forest, the largest of its kind in Morocco. Keep an eye out for Barbary apes as we explore this scenic locale, immersing ourselves in its natural beauty and tranquility.

As we journey onwards, you’ll notice the landscape gradually transforming, offering glimpses of the desert terrain as we approach the city of Errachidia. Along the way, we’ll pause to admire the panoramic views of the luxuriant Ziz Valley, a verdant oasis amidst the arid expanse.

Day 6Merzouga area and the Camel trek

After breakfast in the riad you will start an explorative journey of the area. You’ll visit the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, to experience their music and lifestyle. Not far away there’s the lake of Merzouga, with its bird populations.  You may also visit the nomad wire house where many Berber handicrafts are priced lower than in the big cities.  On the afternoon you will mount your camel, guided by an experienced camel man to explore within the sand sea of Merzouga. Upon returning to the riad, you’ll enjoy a hearty breakfast to fuel up for the day’s adventures ahead. Our journey continues as we depart for Rissani, Tinghir, and the Todra Gorges, renowned for their towering cliffs and narrow passages, making them the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco.

After a satisfying lunch amidst the breathtaking scenery of the Todra Gorges, we’ll traverse the Dades Valley, where you’ll encounter the majestic sand castles and fascinating rock formations known as “monkey toes.” As we wind our way through the picturesque Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna, known as the “rose city,” you’ll have the opportunity to admire the stunning landscapes and capture some unforgettable memories.

Day 8Dades Valley- Ouarzazate- Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

Our first stop will be at Kalaa Mgouna, known as “the rose city,” where you can purchase some exquisite rosewater, a fragrant souvenir that will infuse your linens with a delightful scent long after your journey has ended.

Continuing our adventure, we’ll visit the famous 17th Century Kasbah of Amredil, a symbol of the region’s rich history and heritage. Then, we’ll venture through Skoura and the Birds Valley, where you’ll have the chance to explore the well-preserved Kasbah Ameridil and enjoy some hiking amidst the picturesque surroundings.

As we work up an appetite, we’ll stop at a restaurant overlooking the valley for a delicious lunch, allowing you to savor both the culinary delights and the breathtaking views.

Our journey then takes us to Ouarzazate, known as “the Hollywood of Africa,” where you can opt to visit the studios and explore the props used in iconic movies like The Mummy, Gladiator, and The Last Temptation of Christ.

Next, we’ll immerse ourselves in the lively souks, where you’ll have the opportunity to witness artisans at work and admire the intricate Thuya wood carvings for which Essaouira is renowned. Our first stop will be Safi, renowned for its rich ceramic heritage.
